Our client base is broad, owing to our involvement in the community. Each one of us, Charlie, Graeme, Braden, Jim, and Karen are involved in local organizations in some manner. These include the Nanaimo Economic Development Corporation, the Young Professionals of Nanaimo, the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, and more. Appealing to Foreign Buyers
Not only do we have a wide client base here in Nanaimo, but we also have the benefit of a Mandarin/Cantonese interpreter to help us tap into the emerging market of foreign buyers. Our blog and social media accounts also allow us to tap into buyers from further afield. Theses are always active and updated with new and interesting content, helping us reach out in a unique and engaging way. Of course, we use traditional media, too. Our ads run every week in the Nanaimo Daily News and bi-monthly in the Nanaimo Real Estate Review (Nanaimo News Bulletin).
To give back to the community we have gained so much from, we make an effort to get involved in regular charity work, both within the team and as part of the RE/MAX of Nanaimo brokerage. Each year, we help out with the office’s Customer Appreciation Day, which invites our current and former clients and their families to a day of fun in the sun. We also participate in countless initiatives to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network in support of Children’s Hospital. Other local charity involvement includes the Serauxmen Club, the SPCA, the Silly Boat Regatta, Nanaimo Parks, Recreation, and Culture, and tons more. This past year we particularly enjoyed volunteering as a brokerage at the BC Summer Games.
